Yorkshire Coastliner run the 840 service from the Kirby Misperton roundabout toward Malton, York and Leeds and toward Pickering and Whitby.

Refuse and recycling collection dates
Alternates between rubbish on a Friday and recycling and garden waste on the following Wednesday. Collections are usually one day later in weeks with a bank holiday.

Litter bins
There are litter bins provided at the bus stop, at the village notice board and at the village hall and dog litter bins on Habton Road, Baurgh Lane and by the village notice board. These are emptied regularly by Ryedale District Council.
Salt and grit bins
There are salt and grit bins on Habton Road, Ducks Farm Close, Shire Grove and Barugh Lane. The Parish Council will arrange for these to be refilled when required.

The village notice board is on Main Street between Ducks Farm Close and Orchard Close.
